Hi Archie, it may depend to some degree on the clerk. I use wide, clear packing tape from the back of the envelope across the address and around to the back of the envelope again. I also use a small amount of the same tape to seal the bottom corners and one strip that runs just below and parallel to the "Please press firmly" line on the top flap and around the envelope and have never had a problem at the post office here.
