Tips on identifying Russian & Ukraine Slot Cards

Now that we have all the Russian slot cards listed on the ChipGuide I thought it might help to give some tips on how to identify a particular card. There are over 450 Russian cards and about 46 Ukraine cards currently listed with scans for nearly every card now available.

You could try translating the Russian text using the Google translator or on an Android phone you can try using the Google translate application where you view the card through the phone camera and the app tries to translate the text. But those can be time consuming and difficult to use.

Another way is to use a feature on the ChipGuide website where you can view all the Russian slot card images and try to match your card with one of the listed cards. To use this feature, go to the ChipGuide.com website and select the ChipGuide Query Facility from the menu on the left side. On the ChipGuide Query page, select Europe for the Region, Russian Federation for the State and Players Club (Slot) Cards for the Collectible Type then click the green Query button. The query will display page after page of slot card images (front and back) so you can page through the images and try to match your card with one of the images shown. You can click on any of the images to see a larger view if you need to check details. When you think you've found a matching card you can click on the CG# displayed under the image to get more information on the card and the casino it's from. From that detail page, if you click on the casino name you'll get the full listing for that casino.

If you can't find your card listed under the Russian cards you might want to try checking the Ukraine cards since they are very similar. Just use a similar query and select Ukraine for the State to see all the Ukraine card images. There's only 46 Ukraine cards listed currently.

If you can't find your card listed on the ChipGuide you can send me scans (front and back) and I'll try to help locate the card for you or get it added to the guides if it's not already listed.
