Re: Paris Room Keys - Newby Questions!
In Response To: (Message Deleted by Poster) ()

Personally speaking, with the exception of a few early Venetian keys, I can't think of a single room key that I would pay $8 for ... but that's just me. I have litterally hundreds of traders that I bring to each A.C. club meeting and CCGTCC convention trade sessions and routinely trade one for one with anyone who cares to look. Other one-for-one room key traders at the A.C. meetings are Al McCurdy, Dennis Garnier, Lin Weisenstein, Ron Leis, Frank Gregor, Bob Barker, to name just a few.

Can anyone imagine if there was a book published with catalog values of room keys, what this hobby would look like? That being said; what determines the value of a key? Answer; what someone else is willing to pay for it.
