Diamond Jo Casino Releases Limited Edition Elvis® Casino Player Card

(Dubuque, IA)- May 5, 2012 – Diamond Jo Casino announced today that they will release a limited edition Elvis® Diamond Club Card. Elvis fans and slot card collectors alike will want to add this one-of-a-kind card to their collection. Featuring an image of Elvis, the cards will be available beginning 10am on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

The collectible Elvis Diamond Club Card commemorates Elvis Weekend and the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest™ to be held June 16-17, 2012 at the Diamond Jo Casino.

“The world of collecting slot cards is a booming hobby,” Douglas Smith, President of Casino Chip and Gaming Token Collectors Club said. “Many of our club members specialize in these highly collectable items and limited edition cards are becoming both desirable and highly sought after by collectors. Many of our members will travel out of their way to pick up newly issued cards.”

“There’s already a lot of excitement about the upcoming Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest,” Todd Moyer, general manager at Diamond Jo Casino said. “We expect about 20 tribute artists and we plan to have a lot of fun with it – beginning this weekend when Diamond Club members can upgrade to a limited edition Elvis slot card.” Adults who have not joined the Diamond Club may register at the Diamond Jo Casino’s Diamond Club Desk and receive a limited edition Elvis slot card while supplies last. Elvis Weekend and the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest™

The highlight of the weekend, The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest™, will take place on June 16 at 4pm and 8pm at Mississippi Moon Bar, with finals being held on June 17 at 2pm. This contest is one of the select few tribute competitions sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc.

Elvis Weekend at the Diamond Jo also includes a grand prize drawing each night for Diamond Club members with each winner receiving an once-in-a-lifetime trip to Memphis with a stay at Heartbreak Hotel, tour of Graceland, and more! Elvis-themed food will be featured all weekend at Diamond Jo restaurants, including a special Memphis BBQ Buffet in the award winning Kitchen Buffet. Elvis Tribute Artists will appear on the casino floor between the Saturday shows to meet guests and pose for pictures.
