The key was probably used as advertising at a convention; given to attendee's who stayed at a particular hotel.

The Las Vegas International Hotel, Lodging and Restaurant Convention was just held in March. The Chicago show was just last week. New York, Miami, LA, Denver, Seattle, St. Louis and San Francisco also host these shows.

"NOVELL" is a company that makes computer software for the hotel industry. We use Novell at Blair House for reservations and registration. "NetWare" allows us to access the internet through our computers at the front desk. It also allows us to do a daily backup to the tape drive and keep track of all outgoing calls (number and duration only) for billing purposes.
